July Five was birthed out of the joint mission of Kevin & Lauren Deal. Two passionate creatives who believe marrying their design disciplines will create an impactful collaboration for the culture. July 5th is not only their wedding anniversary but now has inspired the name of their company, which represents their personal and professional relationship.
Lauren is a career changer that decided to go back to school for her BFA in Interior Design and pursue her true passion. Lauren cares deeply about building the trust and reputation of businesses, by creating loyalty from their customers through branding, which includes their digital and physical spaces. She has her Master’s in Business Administration and is a certified project manager, which allows her to not only design great spaces but manage those projects effectively.
Kevin is a web developer and got his start, with Dan Mall of Superfriendly, as an apprentice. Through this apprenticeship, he was able to learn several coding languages, design thinking, and strategy. This and more catapulted him into working as a freelancer. He has worked diligently to be able to work on cool projects with even cooler clients.
Their ultimate goal is to elevate black retail businesses and brands through professional design services. The black community has the most buying power in the United States, and yet very few businesses cater to ensure that authentic brand stories are being created for our businesses, or marketed to our people.
This is July Five.
We would love to talk about your project big or small
